Like Wildflowers (2019) is from the series "Flowers", and is about overcoming self-destructive behaviour and managing life with chronic depression and an anxiety disorder.
With influences from mandala art and south-east Asian rice paper art, creating the repetitive floral patterns is a form of meditation for the artist and a nod to her upbringing in Asia.
