Maalaus kuvaa kahta hevosta avoimessa maisemassa. Hevosten vaaleanpunaiset ja violetit sävyt erottuvat kirkkaanvihreästä niitystä ja turkoosista taivaasta. Vapaamuotoinen siveltimenjälki ja pelkistetty tausta korostavat hahmojen liikettä ja teoksen värikkyyttä.
