Can I make my own profile on the Creatives?
Yes, if your age is between 13 and 28.
What does it mean to have a profile on Creatives?
The Creatives is a site where you can exhibit your art. You can show a collection of your favourite art works and tell about yourself as an art maker. The Creative profile can be linked to your other channels. Artist profile is a combination of artist register and a portfolio.
To use the Creatives, you need to register as a user (artist). Create a profile via this link.
Making an artist profile does not engage you in the other activities of the Young Visual Art or the Art Centre for Children and Young People.
What about copyrights? Do I still hold them?
Yes. You own the copyright.
Kuvasto.fi answers! The terms of use of any website cannot revoke an artist’s copyright unless the situation is construed as a contract. Such situations may include, for example, some competition rules that may have the characteristics of an agreement. By accepting the terms of use of the sites, the author usually grants the site access to the images he uploads, but it does require that the access rights be mentioned in the terms of use.
If the Young Visual Art or its background organization the Art Centre for Children and Young People has some interest towards your works, you will be contacted by them.

Do I have to pay to make and use a profile?
No. Making an artist profile and using the Taide\Folio site is free of charge.
Does making a profile increase the amount of my Instagram followers or my visibility in social media in general?
You have an option to add social media links on your profile, but we can’t guarantee the increase in the amount of your followers in other channels.
Taide\Folio is not a place for competing in likes and followers.
I work with multiple techniques, e.g. I paint, I take photographs, I make knitted graffiti and I code. Do I have to make more than one profile?
No, you don’t. Your status in the Creatives is an art maker, so you are free to present all kinds of works in one profile that you think of as an artistic practice.
What kind of information is it advisable to share?
We do not recommend sharing personal information, such as a phone number or address in your profile. You can tell as much about your art and you as an art maker as you want.
The login information is not public and you can choose whether you want to enable the contact button on your profile or not. If you are unsure about the contacts that you have received, you can contact the Young Visual Art by e-mail nuoritaide(at)artcentre.fi.
