The Taide\Folio website is intended for young art makers aged 13-28 and those who are interested in art, as well as those working in the field of art and with young people. The site is not for commercial use.
1. General information
The Taide\Folio website is maintained by the Art Centre for Children and Young People and its Young Visual Art activity, which carries out national cultural youth work, hereinafter referred to as the Art Centre and the Young Visual Art. After this the users refer to users registered on the Taide\Folio site.
The Art Centre keeps all rights to make changes, add or delete material from The Taide\Folio wholly or partly. If the Art Center updates the webpage in such a way that the terms of use change, the user accepts these changes when continuing to use the webpage.
2. Intellectual property and copyright
All content found on the Taide\Folio page is protected by Finland’s copyright law. The Art Centre owns the copyright to all content on the site, except copyrighted content produced and downloaded by the users.
No part of the Taide\Folio may be copy, distribute or transmit, in any form or by any means, without the prior written permission of the Arts Center or the users of the site.
3. Content created by the users
Content created by the users are the Creatives profiles and the Discussions talks and comments.
By using the Taide\Folio’s features to create content to the site you are responsible for the content you upload. Admin has the right to delete uploaded content wholly or partly if needed. These kinds of situations are if Taide\Folio’s etiquette or Finnish law is violated, or if the content might be harmful for the Taide\Folio, the Young Visual Art or the Art Centre. In delinquency situations, the Art Centre has the right to take other necessary actions, like delete user profile without warning or contact the police.
4. Limitation of liability
The Taide\Folio may be temporarily down. The Art Centre keeps all rights to suspend access to some parts or all of the Taide\Folio at any time and for any reason. The Art Centre has no obligation to give prior notice. The Art Centre keeps the right to block partly the use of the Taide\Folio by registered users in some occasions. The Art Centre does not guarantee the uninterrupted or error-free operation of the website.
The Art Centre is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of the information found on or obtained from the website.
The Art Centre keeps all rights to change the information displayed on the Taide\Folio.
The Art Centre shall not be liable for any services provided by third parties on the Taide\Folio website or for any direct or indirect damage, loss of operating profit or business interruption caused by incorrect information contained on the site, even if such damage has been reported.
The Art Centre is not liable for damages resulting from the indirect or direct use of the site or its content.
5. Third parties
The Taide\Folio provides links to sites owned or operated by third parties. The links are an additional service provided for the users, and the Art Centre is not responsible for these pages or any of their contents. The user might need to accept new site cookies, terms of use etc. before using the page.

The Taide\Folio uses cookies to improve the operations of the webpages. By continuing to visit the Taide\Folio, you accept the use of the cookies.
The cookies used in the Taide\Folio are session cookies. These cookies expire when a user ends a session on the site, unless they have selected the “stay logged in” option when logging in.

7. Personal information and registration on the Taide\Folio
The Art Centre takes users’ privacy seriously. The Art Centre processes personal data in accordance with Finland’s legislation.
Users logged in with a personal ID and password, the username is an e-mail address to use. The user is responsible for the confidentiality of his / her / they password and for transactions made with his / her / they username and password. Unauthorized use of the password and username or other security breaches must be reported immediately to The Young Visual Art by email nuoritaide(at)artcentre.fi.
8. Assaults against to the site
Intentional misuse of the site is strictly prohibited. All malware or other malicious or technologically harmful materials are prohibited. Unauthorized intrusion into or attempt to compromise the Taide\Folio’s server or other servers, computers or information systems connected to the Taide\Folio is prohibited. Denial of service attack or distributed denial of service attack is prohibited.
The Art Centre is not responsible for possible loss or damages caused by any kind of service attacks, viruses or other technologically harmful files that may infect users computer, computer programs or information system from or as a result of using the Taide\Folio. The Art Centre actively seeks to prevent the above-mentioned damage by taking care of the security and protection of the Taide\Folio website.
