Hunajaa & Kastanjaa – Taidenäyttely

Ensimmäinen oma taidenäyttelyni 4.3.2025-27.3.2025 Tapiolan kirjaston näyttelyseinä Kaijassa. Avajaiset 4.3.2025 klo. 18.00.

  1. So — been on this thing for something like a few months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me last week. Am in the UK, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I never could figure out what an e/w return actually was when the place terms changed. I’d just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. These days I stick my stake in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator tool is the one I use most — you drop in your stake, the odds and you get profit and total return straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — acca and treble maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, which is where most people I know got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it’s here trixie betting calculator — free, no signup.

The thing that actually shifted things for me was the more serious tools. The implied probability thing that shows what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one gets used a fair bit for when I’m splitting a race.

Not all sunshine though. The design is very functional, let’s say — no frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s usable but the bigger tables are a squeeze. Also there’s no proper app, just the site — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

So yeah. Free, barely any ads, does the job. Anyone who even now works out returns on a calculator app, try it — it’s saved me a fair few ”wait, that’s it?” moments.
